44-year old, Janet Jackson recently met up with an Animal Rights protest at her concert in the Philippines because of her promoting fur through a series of advertisements for Blackglama.

The activists wore grim reaper costumes and carried signs:

“Janet: Animals suffer and die on fur farms”

“Janet: Fur is Dead,” and “Fur Shame.”

Janet has claimed to be vegetarian and sometimes vegan. She has also bragged about how great vegan cookies, soy milk and faux chicken nuggets taste. Is there something I am missing here? Doesn’t she realize that in order to wear the fur, an animal is killed? Vegan’s believe that animals are not ours to wear or eat, and should not be raised for slaughter.
