Superman series actor dead at 88

Jackie Cooper, probably best known for his role in Superman playing Clark Kent’s newspaper boss, Perry White, in the first four Superman films, dies at 88 years old. His career spanned an amazing 85 years with his most beloved character (in my opinion) as a Munchkin in The Wizard of Oz. This amazingly talented actor, director and producer was the youngest actor ever, at the age of 9, to be nominated for an Oscar as Best Actor, for starring in Skippy.
