Russel Brand was deported from Japan

Russel Brand flew to Japan to meet up with his wife Katy Perry (I still don’t understand that one) on her California Dreams tour. This was apparently a bad idea considering that he had a record in Japan for drug offenses that took place over ten years ago. He was detained and deported. (trust me Russell; it could have been a lot worse.) Katy Perry posted the following message on twitter:

“My husband just got deported from Japan. I am so sad. I brought him all this way to show him my favorite place #tokyodreamscrushed. “It was for priors from over 10 years ago!… But of COURSE I (love) my Japanese fans & the show #MUSTGOON no matter the daily aftershocks or husband kidnappings!”
