ABC’s Take The Money & Run premieres Tuesday, August 2nd at 9:00pm ET with a run of six unscripted episodes. This show has the same producers as The Amazing Race and the CSI franchise, so we reality junkies are surely in for a treat with this one. In the opening episode, two Brothers in San Francisco Compete for $100,000! Raul & Paul Bustamante in San Francisco are given one hour to hide a briefcase worth $100,000. Once the time is up, they’re taken into custody by two local police detectives and brought to investigative headquarters.

Over the next 48 hours, the detectives will work with a team of professional interrogators to determine the location of the briefcase. All they’ll have to go on are cell phone records, receipts and GPS coordinates from the players’ vehicle. There will be a lot of tough interrogations and field work in hopes of finding the briefcase within 48 hours and if they do, they’ll get to keep the money. If not, the two brothers will keep the $100,000. This show combines nail biting investigative excitement with real people, it has the makings of taking reality tv to the next level! I can’t wait!
