Chris Brown danced, jumped, flipped and even flew over the audience in his performance at the MTV Video Music Awards and when the camera panned the audience, we all noticed how obviously non-impressed Jay-Z was. What a refreshing site, seeing someone famous calling it how they see it! I don’t really see what the big deal is over Jay-Z not clapping anyway, it’s been a long time since the incident between Rihanna and Chris Brown, so it probably wasn’t that. Either Jay-Z wasn’t impressed (like me) or possibly just didn’t feel like clapping, there’s no official law saying that if we enjoyed it we should stand up and clap anyway. Jay-Z wasn’t the only one that didn’t give props to Brown’s performance, Perez Hilton called him out later that night on Twitter.

“If you’re gonna make it all about the dancing, then GO FOR IT. But don’t insult the viewer and have a microphone and pretend to sing! #Sucks,” Perez Hilton “@Chris Brown Don’t even bother with the microphone next time! #Weak”

What did you think of the performance, did you like it? Sound off in our poll below.
