So, Drake dropped his second studio album yesterday – it has been delayed some weeks back for unknown issues but it’s most likely due to songs he wanted to have on the album but couldn’t quite make the cut. Nevertheless, we have the album and we’re pretty impressed at his new style of music – don’t worry it’s still rap but it’s more of a story-telling record.
He really likes to emphasize in his songs about girls who he simply adores, as silly as that sounds it’s true. One song for a example, Make Me Proud is a more R&B, Hip-Hop song featuring his dear friend, Nicki Minaj – he consistantly tells her that he’s proud of the women who don’t sell their body in a cheap way… he praises those who go for quantity rather than quality.
Another song we’re in love with is Take Care, which is also the album title, ironically. Anyway, this song features our pop diva, Rihanna who dated the rapper after her split from Chris Brown back in 2009. Rihanna sings: “I know you’ve been hurt by someone else, I can tell by the way you carry yourself… If you let me, here’s what I’ll do… I’ll take care of you” – it’s a song that just makes you want to appreciated your loved ones.
Along with other songs featuring Lil Wayne and many more… we managed to get this album yesterday evening but on the songs we have heard so far, the album definitely deserves a 9/10. Our favorite rap album of the year so far…

It‘s quite in here! Why not leave a response?
