With Andy and Tommy safely out of the race, Sandy and Jeremy bickered their way through many of the challenges last week and managed to get to first place.
Amani and Marcus are the fan favorite and Ernie and Cindy, who won the first leg and earned the Express Pass but have seen first place only one other time since.
After traveling through four continents and 20 cities, the three teams will race to Atlanta and to the finish line. Who will be crowned the winner of “The Amazing Race” season 19 and take home the prize of $1 million prize?.
RECAP: Jeremy and Sandy are the first team to leave at 12:04 am, they are to fly to their final destination to Atalanta, Georgia and find the Flight Safety International for their next clue. Amani and Marcus are thrilled, they are from Atlanta, so they are definitely going to have an edge with this finale.
All teams arrive at the airport to find that they are all on the 8:30am flight together on their way to Atlanta, Georgia. When they arrive at the airport, it’s a footrace to the taxi stands, every second in this last leg counts.
Jeremy and Sandy are the first ones to arrive, teams have take to the sky in a multi million dollar flight simulator where they learn how to fly a plane and have to land it successfully, when their flight is over, they will get their next clue. Jeremy takes the lead with Sandy as co-pilot, Marcus is the lead for his team and Amani the co-pilot. Ernie and Cindy are the last team to start, with Ernie taking the lead, they fail at their first attempt, as well as Amani and Marcus.
Jeremy and Sandy are the first team to finish and get their clue, they have to head to a former residence formerly known as “The Dump”. Ernie and Cindy are done, Marcus and Amani are on their third attempt to land the plane and they fail.
Jeremy and Sandy get the wrong advice and head over to “The Dump” that is a furniture store. Meanwhile, Ernie and Cindy are headed to the correct place and arrive at a Roadblock, “Who gives a damn?”, working with an old fashion typewriter, teams will have to type out their next clue, but there is no number one on the typewriter, they have to figure out that they need to use the lower case L.
Marcus and Amani have yet to land the plane, they keep landing off the runway. Even though Ernie and Cindy got the lead on the roadblock, Ernie is having a tough time with typewriter, which is going give Jeremy and Sandy time to catch up because they finally got a hold of somebody’s Smart phone and now know where they have to go.
Ernie figures out that he must use the lower case L for the one and they are on their way. Jeremy and Sandy have just arrived at The Dump.
Ernie and Cindy must figure out what the numbers 44 – 714 – 74 mean. Meanwhile, Amani and Marcus finally land their plane after twelve attempts. Ernie and Sandy go to a hotel and use a computer, on Google they find that the numbers belong to retired baseball player Hank Arron and they have to go to Turner field. At the clue box, the next challenge is a massive mental map callenge, one team mate is suspended 50 ft above the ground with the other team mate directing how they must map out their race around the world on the map. Ernie and Cindy are done and get their clue for the last stop, the finish line, they must head to Swan House.
Meanwhile, Jeremy and Sandy are finished their map and are now on their way to the finish line as well. Ernie and Cindy are the first team to arrive and the winners of $1 million dollars and the title of winners of season 19. Jeremy and Sandy are team number 2 to arrive and official in second place.
In last place is Amani and Marcus and Phil jokingly asks him to promise to never become a pilot.
