Giuliana Rancic Admits She Is Scared Of Surgery Recovery
E! News host, Giuliana Rancic shocked the nation two months ago when she will spoke exclusively to the TODAY show that she was battling cancer – little did she know that two months later (last week) her doctor revealed to her that the cancer had already spread in her other breast – leaving her no other option than taking a double mastectomy this week.
The news correspondent who has worked for the E! network for nearly 10 years has now opened up about her fear AFTER the surgery; scared of how she will recover from the surgery knowing that both breasts will be removed and then replaced by implants.
“[I'm scared] just of the unknown. I’ve never been through anything like this. I’m scared of waking up and the pain. I do hear it’s a painful recovery, so I worry about that,” she says to UsWeekly.
Luckily, Bill Rancic will be at her side throughout this tough time. E! News will continue with Ryan Seacrest taking over as the main host whilst juggling with the American Idol auditions.
