“Two and a Half Men’s” Ashton Kutcher is planning to spend New Year’s Eve down under in Australia because he wants to celebrate 2012 before anyone else that he knows.

The actor who split from wife, Demi Moore earlier this year after his alleged had an affair usually spends his New Years in New York but has announced a change of plans:

He said: “The best place to go is New York. This city is always electric and they do things bigger and better than everywhere else. But next year I want to go to Sydney because they get New Year’s Day first.”

When Kutcher gets back from Australia, he will have a busy 2012 ahead of him. Not only will he be continuing to star in Two and a Half Men, his show Punk’d is returning to TV as well.
