Last night on Dancing With The Stars it was double-elimination night. Brooke Burke Charvet was not enjoying the added pressure of having to tell two couples that they would be leaving the contest. “I don’t like tonight”, she said after the start of the show.
There was a guest performance last night by Chris Brown, who performed ‘Turn Up The Music,’ from his forthcoming album ‘Fortune.’ Also some of the original dancers from American Bandstand also took to the floor, in tribute to the late Dick Clark.
Disney star Roshon Fegan, 20, was the first of the celebrities to be booted out and said “I am happy to add ballroom dancing to my super-duper moves.” He left smiling, leaving Melissa Gilbert to learn that she was facing a similar fate. Melissa’s departure was a more emotional one, as she wiped away tears, saying “I can’t even describe what a learning and growing experience this has been. It’s been a real blessing and a joy.”
Yesterday was Melissa’s 48th birthday and her dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy said “I wish I could have given you a better birthday present”.
There were no hard feelings between the couple though, and Melissa said “Maks has been amazing. An incredible teacher. An incredible friend.” The remaining celebrities left in the final four are Donald Driver, Maria Menounos, William Levy and Katherine Jenkins.
