Jim Bellino, the husband of Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino, took to his blog to comment on last night’s episode, which featured Alexis’s co-star, Gretchen Rossi and her boyfriend, Slade Smiley, meeting with counselor to discuss Gretchen’s concerns about Slade’s outstanding debt.

Gretchen expressed her fears that his debt situation would never be resolved, and said that she would not marry him until it is resolved. She also said that she did not feel Slade was doing everything in his power to work towards a solution.

Slade’s excuse? He is “distracted” by Gretchen and her work-related needs, whatever that means.

Jim did not specifically name Slade in his post, but strongly alluded to who he was referring to in his blog title, Distracted or Driven. ”If you’re not driven, you will be distracted,” he wrote. “Any husband or boyfriend on these shows who pays too much attention to these shows and the frivolous dramas that surround them, beware of bankrupting yourself. Not just financially (though that is a big part of it) but emotionally, spiritually, and mentally as well…In the end, trust me, you won’t want to be saddled with a man who can’t provide for you and your children and who is a psychological mess.”
