Singer, Rihanna wasn’t happy at all as the interviewer for ‘Esquire’ magazine mentioned the name Chris Brown several times in most of the questions that were asked. Rih, who’s also covering the magazine’s latest issue – currently on stands – hit back stating that she didn’t come to do an interview to be approached with “messy sh*t,” in other words, things she doesn’t want to talk about.

The controversial remix of ‘Birthday Cake’ that made its release back in February sparked rumors that the couple were getting back together. When she was asked why she would duet with an abusive boyfriend, she quickly defended her decision, saying: That’s how f-cked up society is. There’s a lot of sh-t y’all can’t get over. Y’all holding your breath on a lot of stuff that doesn’t matter.

When you realize who you live for, and who’s important to please, a lot of people will actually start living. I am never going to get caught up in that. I’m gonna look back on my life and say that I enjoyed it – and I lived it for me- and God. This is turning into a tacky interview. What do you really want to talk about? I’m not here to [talk] about messy shit.
