Nicole Scherzinger might have been axed on X Factor USA, but that doesn’t mean she can judge the same show… in another country. The singer can’t seem to let go of the X Factor as she signs up to become the fourth permanent judge on the UK’s version of the talent show.

The ‘Right There’ artist, who guest-judged the show when Danni Minogue was on maternity leave, boosted the show’s ratings by a mile. Her music career is staggering every time she brings out new material – which always lands on a solid position in the charts – and Simon Cowell has decided that it’d be a good move for her to do the UK’s version now.

$1.1 million have been offered to the singer – initially $800,000 but she refused on that offer and managed to get more out of the deal. Execs of the UK talent show are said to be in a ‘desperate mode’ to hire another judge as the auditions are soon coming to an end and they’re still one judge short.

However, according to sources, Nicole is signing the contract later this week and will join the other judges from next week:  “Nicole’s management have negotiated a good deal. It’s a great salary considering most of the auditions have already been done by special guests,” a source tells The Mirror.

“Nicole has played the long game on this. She was offered a £500,000 deal a week ago but kept her counsel and managed to get this bumped up by another £250,000.”

The source continues: “She is thrilled with the offer and is expected to sign in the next day and be in place as the fourth permanent judge by Monday. She is thrilled with the offer and is expected to sign in the next day and be in place as the fourth permanent judge by Monday.”
