Last week, Jack Osbourne made the announcement that he had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis – a serious condition which affects the spine and brain cells. Upon his announcement, his mother, Sharon Osbourne returned to work, sobbing as she opened up about Jack’s condition, adding that Jack is staying strong and he’s doing good.

Earlier this week, as Osbourne made an appearance on Piers Morgan Tonight, he told Piers Morgan that his condition can be treated, according to his doctor who tell him that several new drugs will be on the market very soon to help him find a solution. Speaking on the CNN show, Jack says:

“I’ve been told by all my doctors that if you are going to get MS now is the best time to have it. There are, I think, two or three new drugs coming out within the next six months… I do believe there will be a solution in sight in my lifetime.”

Speaking of his fiancee’s Lisa Stelly support, he added: “Lisa is incredibly optimistic, just in her nature she is. She’s very caring, very nurturing, and she was like, ‘Hey, this is not so great news, but let’s figure out how to make this a good thing’.

And, you know, the prescribed lifestyle with having MS is minimize stress, exercise regularly, eat right and, you know, get a lot of sleep. That is the best kind of recipe to live by for anyone!,” he added.
