Cheryl Cole has denied that she walked out of an interview after a journalist mocked her, saying that why was he there – he tried to make it look as if Cole was not important enough for him to interview and therefore kept saying aloud “Why are we here?,” which prompted the star to walk out faster than anyone could have imagined.
A source tells The Mirror that Cole found the interview “very odd,” they continued: “Cheryl was happy to chat to the BBC, but it was a bit odd,” an apparent source said. “They repeated, ‘Why are we here?’ At that point, it seemed like a dig at her for not being worthy of being on the same bill as The Wanted and Jessie J.”
On her Twitter page, she then replied to the story saying: “@3am Fyi.. I have never walked out of an interview in my career,” she wrote. “I had to be reminded of what your even referring to.. Stop telling lies lol.”
