Apparently what caused the breakup of Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp’s marriage was her jealousy over his career.  Us Weekly reports that it was Vanessa who actually made Johnny Depp take on the role of one his most iconic characters in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl’, as Jack Sparrow. The movie made over $300 million and really exploded Depp’s popularity, increased his fan base and made him into an even bigger actor.

Depp alone made $75 million back in 2010, making around at least $25 million a movie he was doing well but Paradis’s singing career was honestly going no where, I didn’t even know she was a singer, “Vanessa started to feel like she’d sacrificed her career for his.” Was Vanessa jealous that Johnny was a superstar and she wasn’t?

Even though Depp’s career was doing well, Vanessa was never happy with him,“Nothing Johnny did was ever good enough for Vanessa. When he was working, she wasn’t happy. And when he wasn’t working, he was called a slob for not doing enough for the kids and her family.” The couple have two children, Jack who’s 10 and Lilly-Rose who’s 13

The couple began to have explosive fights, “Vanessa would take her frustrations out on him.” Frustrated about what? The man you’re with is making several millions a year, while she did nothing really. But maybe that’s what did it, knowing Johnny was making the money for the family and not her, started to make her become jealous and annoyed that her career wasn’t going as well.

But it seems like Johnny took the split the hardest though, “It broke Johnny’s heart that the family he loves so much was becoming fractured.” Johnny’s heartbreak is apparently over and he has now moved on to Rum Diary co-star Amber Heard, she’s 26 while he’s 49 and she is extremely HOT!
