Usher is dealing with a situation that all parents are terrified of.  His stepson, Kyle Glover, has been declared brain dead after a devastating Jet Ski accident occurred on Friday.  Sadly, the eleven year old son of Tameka Foster, Usher’s ex wife, has shown no signs of brain activity since arriving at  Children’s Healthcare at Egelston Hospital in Atlanta

Glover was sitting in an inner tube on Lake Lanier, reportedly being pulled by a boat when someone on a jet ski came speeding along, unable to stop before colliding with the boy.  He was struck in the head and pulled from the water completely unresponsive.

Tameka was not with her son at the time of the accident and despite ugly divorce proceedings with her ex-husband, she accepted Usher’s help. He chartered a private plane to take her to be at the boy’s side, an offer she humbly accepted.  Usher arrived at the hospital yesterday and the two have stayed with the boy together.  Tameka  also took a minute to post this to her Facebook page:  “Kyle, you are strong…you’ll be saved, I know it. I love you my baby. I need all #prayers for my son. Thank you everybody!”

What a sad situation.  It is amazing that this former couple has shelved all their personal issues to come together for this little boy.  Usher has taken a real beating in court yet his instinct was still to do whatever he could to help his ex-wife and stepson.  It kind of makes me wonder if this tragedy will somehow maybe pull them back together again.
