Countess LuAnn Lesseps has a real inferiority problem that comes barreling out whenever she’s in the company of- anyone really.  No matter what the conversation is about, you can bet LuAnn will top whatever the person is telling her.  Her boyfriend, Jacques, is a wine importer and so this week LuAnn decided to go head to head using his skills against Ramona Singer’s.  She too, is a wine connoisseur, even having her own brand of Pinto Grigio on the market.

 The couple decided to have Ramona taste some different wines and she actually didn’t recognize her own blend, going so far as to call it a little flat.  When Ramona realizes it was in fact her own wine, LuAnn teases her saying she doesn’t even know her own product.  Ramona’s husband Mario and castmate Aviva Drescher are not amused.  They feel it was yet another ploy of LuAnn’s to drag someone else down in order to feel good about herself.  LuAnn took to her blog this morning to give her perspective on the situation,

“When we had Ramona blindly test her own wine, it was to have fun, not to embarrass her. She analyzed her wine perfectly and that says a lot about the effort she’s put in to her product. She had a good time at the party and it wasn’t until Mario and the Dreschers got her all worked up that she felt like we did something wrong.
