Well, just when you thought the Jackson family circus couldn’t get any stranger, Conrad Murray- the man legally responsible for Michael Jackson’s death- has thrown his hat into the ring.  He has released a statement through his attorney’s; to CNN and in it he offers to have a jailhouse chit chat with the struggling Katherine Jackson.

TMZ has more details,  “I’ve been told that she has a desire to speak with me before she departs this life.  Seeing that she is up in age and in questionable health, and the fact that she is the mother of a very dear departed friend, it would give me great pleasure to sit with her one on one and answer any questions she might have. I do not want Mrs. Jackson to suffer. She remains as dear to me as my own mother, unbeknownst to her.  I also heard she is having a difficult time.”

Murray also claims to have added Katherine to his list of possible visitors so that if she chooses to accept his offer of a conversation, she won’t be turned away.  Is this the craziest suggestion either, or do you think that maybe Katherine would need to meet with him before she passes away?  Maybe Murray is the person that can ultimately bring her a sense of closure in her son’s unnecessary death.  Do you think she should take him up on the offer or keep her distance?
