Giuliana and Bill Rancic were amongst a bevy of Hollywood’s finest that attended the 2012 “Do Something” award show which honoured some amazing people that give back by helping others in need. The evening was not about who wore what, but rather, it was about honouring some really amazing people.

The award show took place last night in Santa Monica, California when DoSomething.org honoured the nation’s best – the show airs on VH1, Tuesday, August 21st at 9pm.

Celebrities and young charitables under 25 years old who try to make a difference were celebrated. The grand prize winner will take home $100,000 during the broadcast tomorrow night which will be presented by Ben Affleck. Now since this is not about the celebrities, but about giving back, we are not going to post all the photos of who wore what, but rather list all the amazing winning celebrities and finalists who take the time out of their personal lives to “do something” good for someone else.

The nominees for the under 25 year olds were: Manyang Reath Kher – Humanity Helping Sudan, Meg Bourne – Art Feeds, Danny Mendoza – Together We Rise, Seth Maxwell – The Thirst Project and Katie Gomez –  Educate2Envision. The winner was Katie Gomez.

The celebrity winners were: Hope Solo, Joel McHale, Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon,  Ben Affleck & The Eastern Congo Initiative, Will.I.Am,  Giuliana Rancic, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith. For a full list of the amazing celebrity nominees, click here.
