24-year old, Hilary Duff who is married to Mike Comrie, gave birth to their first child this year and has been heavily criticized for not getting right back into shape after giving birth.
The actress was in Los Angeles this past weekend showing of a new slimming post-baby figure in tight black pants, little makeup and sexy heels when she joined celebrities at The Hollywood Reporter event celebrating The Mindy Project.
About a month after welcoming her child, Hilary brought cardio back to her fitness routine by joining SoulCycle, she actually told Us Weekly that she is addicted to it.
A lot of celebrity mothers are in a hurry to get back into shape, but Hilary prefers to take a more relaxed approach and SoulCycle is a great choice since it incorporates spinning with candles and spiritual motivation.
Hilary goes on to say that, “It’s a great workout and it’s perfect because it’s only forty-five minutes — where else can you sweat like that in forty-five minutes? ’I'm working out because I honestly missed it during my pregnancy – getting in that good, hard workout. I need endorphins in my life to be a happy person. I want my body back but I’m not freaked out or anything – just working out and trying to eat a little bit healthier. I’m not stressing about it.”
Wow, I love Hilary’s positive attitude and the fact that she doesn’t take the criticism to heart, good for her for standing her ground and taking control of her weight loss in her own way.
Hilary is not the only celebrity to join SoulCycle; Nicole Scherzinger, Lady Gaga and Katie Holmes have also joined the fitness craze.
