Betty White‘s career has spanned an amazing seven decades and she doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. It’s really hard to say what Betty is best known for because she is known for so much that is fabulous, from Sue Ann Nivens on Mary Tyler Moore to Rose Nylund on The Golden Girls and recently in Betty White’s Off Their Rockers.

The 90-year old continues to be sharp and always manages to stay on top of world events. What keeps the nonagenarian’s mind so limber? Well, the Globe reports that she is still doing her crossword puzzles. On a recent American Airlines flight from Chicago to L.A. she was completely absorbed, along with her bodyguard, during the four hour flight in a crossword puzzle together.

Besides being a fabulous actress and comedienne winning an amazing seven Emmys, Betty also devotes a lot of her time to her favorite charity that is close to heart, animals. As a pet enthusiast and animal health advocate, Betty works with many organizations for the rights and welfare of animals.

The unstoppable Betty is nominated for yet another Emmy this year for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program  in Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, NBC has renewed the program for a second season. The Emmys will be held September 23, 2012 at the Nokia Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California with first time host Jimmy Kimmel.
