37-year old, Kate Gosselin, mother of eight and television personality sat down with Katie Couric and spoke candidly about what comes next for the former Dancing with the Stars contestant.

In the interview, Kate revealed that her divorce was inevitable to Jon Gosselin, whether the family became famous or not because of all the red flags and being in the spotlight in her opinion, would not have changed that.

Since her divorce, Kate has been trying to move on but not without being bashed repeatedly by the press. Now, in another attack on Kate, a tell-all book is being released that is reportedly going to expose her “evil” ways. The information in this book is said to come from Kate’s private journals that someone just happened to find. Yeah, you see how this sounds already, don’t you? Kate wrote down in these journals horrible things about herself and left them for someone to find because she loves the press attacking her! Personally, I don’t believe a word of it because there were too many opportunities to expose her if there were any truth in this tell-all. Unfortunately, Kate cannot comment on the book for legal reasons, “Honestly, although I’d love to, I’ve been advised not to say anything about it at this time. It is in the hands of two very competent law firms and I’m grateful they’re with me on this. There will come a time but I really can’t comment.”

Kate deserves so much more respect than she is given. She is raising eight children without child support, Jon told Star Magazine in August that he is too broke to pay anything to help raise his eight children.

Now where does Kate go from here? The reality mom is heading to a new dating show after being alone for three years now raising her eight children, “It is true. After a few years in realizing my barriers to dating and all of that and loving TV and the experiences … I just feel like honestly, yes, that was my idea. I would do it (so) it could be watched by families and my children. But I think that it would be fun because that would allow me to sort of meet people, have fun, show my fun side — I do have one. I’m not always barking orders! And so to sort of do that, I do, I think it would be really fun.”

I personally like Kate and admire her for taking care of her eight children alone. Jon didn’t want the children in the spotlight anymore, he wanted them to live “normal” lives. Is “normal” having a mother raise you alone and a father not contributing one red cent? Kate is doing the best she can and should be applauded.
