Nicole Richie Proves Her Own Style Credentials At Masterclass
Nicole Richie to set to give her own fashion Masterclass. Nicole was once an actor in the “Simple Life” along with Paris Hilton, her childhood best-friend and fellow socialite, these days Nicole is considered a fashion icon and she has even been a guest judge on “Project Runway”.

Nicole went on to being part of NBC’s “Fashion Star”, as a mentor and proved her style credentials as she gave advice to hopefuls at the “Teen Vogue Fashion University” event on Saturday, October 20, 2012. Nicole also opened up about how she landed into the business while she was a host at the seventh annual event in New York City. Teen Vogue editors pick five hundred young new youngsters each and every year to be part of the three day crash course in preparation of fashion career and Nicole was thrilled to be a part of the event.

Nicole took to her Twitter account after the event, “Thank you Teen Vogue Fashion University & everyone who came to the seminar! Perfect morning.”

The daughter of Lionel Richie, Nicole is also a creative director of her own two fashion lines, which include the “House of Harlow” and “Winter Kate”. She has also put her focus into other projects such as charity work and environmental issues. She is married to musician Joel Madden, sharing two children together. Nicole, along with Joel have founded “The Richie Madden Children’s Foundation” in 2010 which provides direct assistance to those in need and seeks to raise awareness of systemic issues like health care, education and human rights as they impact disadvantaged children in the United States and around the world.
