Kristin Davis has hit her Oxfam Fundraising target. The former “Sex and the City” actress who portrayed Charlotte York has something to celebrate about, she has reached her goal in helping victims of hunger over in West Africa. Also a former “Melrose Place” star, Kristin is a global ambassador for Oxfam and even set up a webpage to encourage her fans to lend a hand in helping her set her goal in reaching ten thousand dollars earlier this year, to provide the help for those who were suffering in the troubled Sahel region, as the locals fight through drought and the fight food each and every day.
This week, Krisin October bypassed her previous target by more than three thousand dollars and then took to Twitter to thank all of the people that helped her.
“I’m so excited to raise 10,000 for @Oxfam America for the drought in the Sahel-Thank You 2 everyone who supported us!”
Kristin has also taken her love for animals to Africa, she adopted an abandoned baby elephant during a visit in 2009 and launched a crusade to save the endangered species, for which she was handed the Humane Society’s 2010 Wyler Award.
Kristin’s last movie was “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island”, hopefully we’ll get to see her in a new project next year, although I will always miss her as Charlotte.

It‘s quite in here! Why not leave a response?
