Alan Jackson & Garth Brooks Headed to Hall of Fame

If you are a county music fan, then you know what the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame is and now, two of the best and well known singers in country music are nominated, Alan Jackson and Garth Brooks! I for one truly admire songwriters, it is because of their talent and hardwork that the biggest names in popular and country music can become successful recording artists.

Other songwriters were nominated as well, Larry Gatlin, Amy Grant, and the late Townes Van Zandt. Only two songwriters will be inducted, will Alan and Garth make it? I hope so, but we will have to wait until the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to be held Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011 at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel.

Mrs Garth Brooks Publishes Top Worst Cookbooks For 2010

A Report issued from the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine listed Grammy Award singer, Trisha Yearwood’s collection of high cholesterol recipes in Home Cooking, one of the five top worst cookbooks of 2010.

The 46-year old & Georgia native, married to Garth Brooks since 2005, included recipes loaded with fat and high cholesterol, family stories and tips. For example, Garth’s Breakfast Bowl includes eight large eggs, a pound each of bacon and sausage, cheese tortellini, cheddar cheese, tater tots, and butter. More than once, tabloids have razzed Yearwood about her weight, not at all surprising given her love of cheese, butter and bacon!
