Jay-Z ‘All About Truth and Integrity’

Chris Brown danced, jumped, flipped and even flew over the audience in his performance at the MTV Video Music Awards and when the camera panned the audience, we all noticed how obviously non-impressed Jay-Z was. What a refreshing site, seeing someone famous calling it how they see it! I don’t really see what the big deal is over Jay-Z not clapping anyway, [Read more...]

Tyler, Creating The Future?

So, if you hadn’t heard of him yet, after the MTV’s Video Music Awards, you should have.  Tyler, the Creator, is just one of the many names he goes by, and most of you are probably wondering who I’m talking about.  Tyler, the leader and head of the OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) hip-hop collective, won the VMA Award for “Best New Artist” earlier tonight for his video “Yonkers.”  Many people I know are still complaining that he didn’t deserve this by any means, especially ahead of Big Sean and Wiz Khalifa.

Gaga didn’t pick up her trophy on the ‘black’ carpet as she was prepping for her much-anticipated opening number.

“It’s going down to the wire. Hosting is such a unique element. We feel we got it right by putting new talent on the stage like Chelsea Handler and Russell Brand. We’re really challenging ourselves to find the right person so that the show feels complete.”

But, today they confirmed that show will feel “complete” sans host. What gives? Who’s going to make fun of the celebrities in the audience and make them feel awkward throughout the show? Bummer.
